Road Traffic Accident / Incident

Delta is a private hire operator responsible for arranging bookings for private hire vehicles. All drivers operating through Delta are self-employed and are therefore individually responsible for their own conduct, driving standards, and compliance with all relevant road traffic legislation.

While Delta will endeavour to assist customers with complaints directly relating to a booking made through our service, we are unable to investigate or assist with matters that fall outside the scope of a booking arranged by Delta.

Driver Conduct & Behaviour

Delta is a private hire operator responsible for arranging bookings for private hire vehicles. All drivers operating through Delta are self-employed and are therefore individually responsible for their own conduct and behaviour.

Delta will assist customers in investigating complaints relating to the conduct of drivers for journeys booked through our service. However, where inappropriate behaviour is reported involving a driver who does not appear to have been booked through Delta, such matters should be referred to the relevant Local Authority Licensing Division.

Local authorities hold greater regulatory powers than private hire operators such as Delta and are best placed to investigate such concerns.

Plying for Hire

Any complaints regarding a licensed private hire driver suspected of illegally plying for hire should be reported to the relevant Licensing Authority.

As an operator, Delta is only able to investigate complaints relating to drivers allocated to bookings made through our service. Where a driver is alleged to be acting in breach of the conditions of their private hire licence, such matters should be referred directly to the issuing Licensing Authority, which is responsible for enforcement and regulatory action.
